The main window now includes both module and global Amount controls. The preset Macro Faders are not the only convenient new controls. This whole concept is really well implemented, and allows an easy route into simple editing. Users can also create their own Macro Faders if they wish.

For example, aВ Loundess Macro Fader might control the Threshold for the Loudness Maximiser whileВ aВ Depth Macro Fader might alter the Band Widening controls in the MultiвЂ‘band Stereo Imaging module. When aВ preset is selectedВ in the Preset Manager window, aВ number of faders are displayed that give access to the key controls for overall tweaking of that preset. Izotope have also built aВ degree of soundВ editing into the preset system via the new Macro Faders.

This makes it much easier to find aВ suitable starting point or to organise your own presets. Presets can now also be organised into folders, and the 100вЂ‘plus presets supplied are helpfully organised into folders such as 'GenreвЂ‘Specific Mastering' or 'Instruments and Busses'.
